Encore at Wynn Las Vegas changes operating hours due to low demand

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Beginning Oct. 19, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas will alter its operating hours due to low demand.

The resort closed at noon on Monday, and will reopen at 2 p.m. every Thursday.

Hotel guests will be able to check in at Encore beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursdays, and final check out will be noon on Mondays.

The Poker Room at Encore will temporarily move to Wynn Las Vegas beginning October 19 and operate 7 days a week, the resort noted. The Poker area will be located on the casino floor near the Wynn self-park garage.

Going to Vegas next month. Staying at the Belagio. Used to love going into sports books and betting on NFL, MLB, NBA. But now that they’ve all embraced the BLM crap, I can’t even look up at a TV screen when the games are on or I’ll feel sick. Just play the one-armed bandits now.

Actually they did at night, not many though. It wasn’t very crowded, but there were TRUMP Signs, Billboards, Buildings Lit Up with Trump,... EVERYWHERE!!!

We were in Vegas about a month ago ... stayed at the MGM right before the big layoff. Vegas is in short, depressing. We normally go out on some Jeep rock climbing and desert driving and that was cool ... check in masked and the rest of the time was like normal. The downside of the visit was time spent around pool and lazy river. It was 110 degrees and we had to wear mask continuously even BETWEEN SIPS of your drink. And the MGM had their Nazi enforcer Chris (I hope you're out there reading this) making darn sure we complied. We will never, ever go back to Vegas. The governor destroyed that city.

I have friends in Vegas so go quite often. I’ve been 3 times in this month. One of them is a bartender at a casino with 2 roommates. One of the roomies is a bartender and the other is a cocktail waitress so I kind of know what’s going on inside the casinos. Nothing is normal. Traffic is light unless there’s something special. The televised Raiders game drew a crowd. We were at South Pointe when the security guys shot the guy in the parking lot 1 1/2 weeks ago. Crime is UP on the strip big time. We don’t even go there when we go out. The Red Rock Casino is my new fave place to go.
