Is it that the President was trying to end the process "early"?
Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that the Trump administration can end census field operations early
Or that he was trying to cut it off on time and the AP's political heros managed to extend it beyond the scheduled stop?
They managed to get nearly two extra weeks of counting people as the case made its way through the courts.
Blech!
The Constitution requires every single person in the USA to be counted.
What should have been done is to issue census confirmation cards. If the census due date is April 1, 2030, you should not be able to enter a school, collect a government benefit or make a purchase in May 2030 without showing your census confirmation card.
