California (IIRC) did the same thing a few years ago. The boys and girls in Sacramento were drooling at the thought of incoming tax revenue.

But guess what happened?

A lot of people started growing it and distributing it illegally in order to avoid paying taxes.

The same will happen in Pennsylvania.

“A lot of people started growing it and distributing it illegally in order to avoid paying taxes.”

Pretty sure they’ve been growing it and distributing it illegally for a long time before it was legalized.

No kidding. I’ve yet to hear of a state that has reaped any real benefits from legalization.
