Some are actually smart...but they just don't follow politics.
They ain't dumb...maybe they are ignorant.
I've known many Health Care Professionals that have no clue what is happening in the world. They are wrapped up in their jobs..and their lives.
Lot's of folks don't pay attention to what is going on...Doesn't mean they are ignorant.
It's like I've often said of many a person: "He's quite intelligent; he just doesn't know anything."
