I really respect his courage and contribution. For a man of color to reach out and challenge the norm requires courage knowing the venom he will likely receive in the process. We are American and that is the 1st thing we should see because skin color is only relevant when we are talking about genetics and medical risk factors. The content of a person’s character is not a condition determined by skin color. If a fellow American’s right to be recognized as equally American were dimissed simply based upon skin color, it would be an UnAmerican standard to say the least. To do so is a rejection of the American Idea and Standards we have inherited.

Let me try to explain it. I’m not trying to impugn anyone’s sincerity. I’m implying that if a person comes to an epiphany after discovering that twice two is four, when all the while he’s been thinking it’s six, is a sign that something has been seriously wrong with his thinking all along.
Some are actually smart...but they just don't follow politics.
They ain't dumb...maybe they are ignorant.
I've known many Health Care Professionals that have no clue what is happening in the world. They are wrapped up in their jobs..and their lives.
Lot's of folks don't pay attention to what is going on...Doesn't mean they are ignorant.
