So I must once again congratulate Bray for a great article, so very true, right on the money.

Sad....very sad, but you hit it right on Bray.

Now I have a little story about mail in voting.

I spoke to my mother-in-law about mailing in her vote. She lives in Massachusetts and is 91 years old. She has difficulty walking so arranged, properly and fairly, to mail in her vote.

She got her ballot (this is legitimate mail in voting, not that scatter nonsense where everyone gets a ballot), filled it out, and wants to mail it.

She lives in a retirement community, not a home but a residential building of elders. Each building has a mailbox to put outgoing mail for pickup. My MIL can easily reach this with the help of a walker.

BUT those in charge told her she cannot put her completed ballot in the building’s pick up box....nobody told her why not.

“They told me that there is a drop box right outside the courthouse in Peabody,” she explained, then distraught over all this. “But I simply cannot get to Peabody. I don’t drive and certainly can’t walk there.”

She goes on to explain that the people in charge told her that there was a lockbox across the way, beyond the other building that she can use.

Again, this would require her to climb the steep steps of the local jitney and get dropped off about a block from this lockbox....again something she cannot do.

“I guess I’m not going to vote,” she said, very sad. She despises Biden and is voting for Trump.

Now I tell this story because all across the fruited plains this sort of thing is going to happen. Not only do you have the untrained post office employees handling millions of ballots, but throw in several million more like these folks in charge of her retirement home who know not what they do and boom, millions of votes will be lost. Or will be wrong. Or won’t be delivered.

And this doesn’t include what we know will be much crookedness, the stealing of ballots.

Don’t mean to be so down-hearted, but WHY are they getting away with this?
