His co-worker ratted him out? It’s all the rage ya know.
Lionsgate just put a Kick Me sign on their business premises. Bad guys will know their are no guns beyond security, if that.

And the Oscar for Lifetime Achievement in Hypocrisy goes to.....Lionsgate Films!

American Psycho; Sicario [major shootem-up]; the John Wick series [mega shootem-ups}; The Expendables; Rambo series; Hunger Games series; and, that kumbayyah classic, Saw VI.
Lionsgate sells the public non-stop ultra-violence, shootings, stabbings, and even serial sawings as “entertainment” but faints when its employee has the means to defend himself locked in his car. Shame on him for working one day for people like these and for trusting his back-stabbing co-workers. The scumbag who ratted him out is probably sitting in his office now.
I was about to ask the same question.

The coworker, male or female ?
What a chicken sh*t company. And the CEO was foolish even bring up the subject with a co-worker while within the borders of California. And this after he was attacked while in his vehicle and had his home broken into.
CA is trying to criminalize self defense....What an eff’d up state.
Probably but they paid off the sex abuse claims of the coworker he took to lunch.

This statement does not really say he has a carry permit.
It says the hand gun was licensed. Oh, what’s that mean in Calif? Was it purchased through an FFL and the CA DOJ background check (which is de facto gun registration)?
And if you are carrying it in your car to go to the range, it stays in the car till then, unless he has a CCW which has not been clearly claimed.
You have to be well connected, a celebrity, judge, cop, big political donor$, corrupt politicians etc. You see, regular citizens in CA are not wealthy enough or well connected enough to be afforded self defense.
No joke.
*Massachusetts* (my home) even had a higher percentage of the population with a CCW.

As I understand it, in MA, you cannot buy, own, use, or borrow a gun without a CCW (of which there are about 3 or 4 versions).
So every gun owner has a CCW of some sort.
I am trying to figure out MA gun law, so corrections are appreciated.
Just don’t move there or travel there or pass though!

It's clear from the report that the guy was selling cocaine in the office and had raped and tortured several of his co-workers (both male & female)...
However, it was all the child porn he was carrying in his briefcase that really did him in...
