The left wants to smother the 2nd Amendment in its sleep. We have to make sure it stays awake.
The 2nd Amendment is the only reason they still pretend we have a Constitution.
When they gut that like they gutted the natural born citizen clause, freedom is dead.
That’s hardly news. Democrats have been coming for our guns for a century. In fact, so have plenty of Republicans. They all “support the Second Amendment”, they just also support gutting it to the point that it becomes meaningless.
The Supreme Court is the only way to ensure that the Second Amendment is fully restored to its intended power. And the only way that’s going to happen is by President Trump or someone like him replacing a couple of the liberals with hardcore 2A defenders. Then we can go after FOPA, the GCA, and the NFA. All unconstitutional.

No, the use to which you put your guns will determine the fate of the 2nd Amendment.
The 2nd Amendment is the only self-enforcing right in the Constitution, if it means anything at all.

Thank you for posting a lot of John Lott writings. He is a good American and a defender of the Second Amendment. Post as often as you find good articles from him.

Then is *is* dead, and has been for a while. The 2nd has been gutted by numerous gross infringements that render it meaningless.
Texas is about the only state where it has some semblance of its original effect. Most red states pay lip service to it.
