By saying its a Russian rumor, or that the Russians believe it, Brennan decoupled it from a direct affirmative statement that Hillary initiated it. Even though, we also know that the intermediary to Steele’s group was through the law firm Perkins Coie, who was paid a rather obscene amount of cash ($9 million IIRC) for minimal work. This was their big job—paying an intermediary and using the mask of client privileged activity to hide it.

The redactions are made for political reasons and should not be there. The American people deserve to know every damned word. We need a national day of sunshine on our damned spy agencies. They tried to overthrow the government.
No redactions. There are no sources and methods to hide. Those are just the sources and methods of the coup.
