The Internal Revenue Service is investigating longtime National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre for possible criminal tax fraud related to his personal taxes, according to people familiar with the matter.

Mr. LaPierre was paid $2.2 million by the NRA in 2018, the most recent year available, the nonprofit group’s public filings show. His total reported pay from 2014 to 2018 was $11.2 million.

Funny how the IRS seems to totally AVOID a sharp look at Joe Biden & Hunter Biden’s income tax returns...

Way past time to dump LaPierre and his cronies on the Board of Directors for decades of mis-spending NRA funds for personal use.

LaPierre has done more damage to the NRA than Bloomberg, Soros, and Gates combined.

I agree. He’s been in that position far too long and has been building an empire around himself. The NRA solicits donations from me and I tell them that I will when LaPierre is gone.

I quit the NRA after I got tired of paying for LaPierre’s lifestyle.

This is a investigation, not an indictment, prompted by a complaint filed by a Soros front organization:

Neil Knox nailed this guy back in the 90’s. Unfortunately he brought in Charlton Heston, threw-up a wall of smoke, and survived.

Neil Knox was a brilliant soldier of the second amendment. Anyone attacking him to save their own hide deserves no respect. I was already a life member so there was no sense dropping out. But my participation has gone to zero.

Well, Wayne, you and most conservatives had no idea what you had done with the “European-style socialists” bit, but they certainly did. This has Soros written all over it. LaPierre might be crooked, but my goodness, the Left gets away with this stuff forever.

Expensing meals is less of a concern to me than everything else he expensed. You expense client and employee business dinners, that’s how it works.

Expensing your designer suits when your organization has no mandatory uniform code... that’s a lot more questionable.

How about the money Al Charlatan (Sharpton) owes and the $ 1 Billion that Warren Buffet refuses to pay?

Somebody leak his tax returns to the 'fake newsers'? As we learned when the Dems leaked Mr. Trumps returns, that's probably a felony. No American should have their official IRS forms/submittals released to the public (and I say that as someone who files a short form every year ;^)...
