This legislation, Senate Bill 1159, will shift the burden of proof to presume that covered workers who contracted COVID-19 did so at work, unless the employer can prove otherwise.

Here’s how we destroy Orange Man’s economy! Every employer now has an incentive to enforce work from home rules, which will devastate commercial real estate.

Restaurants have another reason to stay closed.

Are taxpayers on the hook for teachers who get ill? Will we now regulate employee behavior, overtly or covertly?

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think this is gonna be great!

Exactly, businesses stay basically closed.

Essentials get hammered with WC claims and skyrocketing rates. We don’t pay when flu or a cold virus runs rampant in the workplace...now we’ll pay for a highly contagious one?

If everyone at the Rose Garden was tested negative...and they were...but President Trump and team still got Covid...

What is an employer to do? Oh...wait...can’t work until you vaccinate...it is coming. It is the only way an employer can avoid what will be the high cost of doing business otherwise.
