Can anyone believe this country is still free?
Your post breaks my heart.
This "new normal" cannot last if we value freedom.
God bless you and your husband.

KJC1 it is the hardest thing to deal with right now. Hubby is 81 and needs me to advocate for him. He cannot walk or feed himself. Last hospital visit when Covid first started was horrible! They wouldn't let me even go into the entry of the facility!!
I feel so bad right now for him. But there was a possibility of a heart attack so I had to make the decision to let paramedics take him to be checked.
Freedom? not the America I remember and I am nearing 80...sad what has happened to our beloved USA.
I was MPOA for someone in a nursing home for a couple of years & when she needed to go to the ER, I was there with her. I then took care of an Aunt (deaf) who had heart failure. Her cardiologist told her son (out of state) that the quality of my Aunt’s care was vastly improved because I was there with her, as an advocate & to keep an eye on things, talk to the docs, etc. This COVID crap where loved ones cannot be with the patients is ridiculous and dangerous, IMO. Family, at least one person, needs to be with the patients.
Prayers up for your husband - I’m sure it’s more than frustrating to be kept away from him.
It was fun!!! Amazing. I missed the Prez though- but was so happy for all the great Patriots there, though. What a wonderful crowd. I never thought Id see that kind of love for the President on display in Montgomery County. Just- WOW!
Yea, we almost left a few minutes before we saw something was fixing to happen so we stuck around.
It was amazing the Montgomery county support.
