President Trump doesn’t seem to be letting his COVID-19 diagnosis slow him down. According to reports he’s still working hard at his job.
But Joe Biden, once again, called a lid at 9:16am Eastern Time on Sunday morning.
The Biden campaign called a lid for in-person events at 9:16a ET.

President Trump himself reported that he was still doing the work of the American people while at Walter Reed. “I had to be out front. This is America. This is the United States. This is the greatest country in the world. This is the most powerful country in the world. I can’t be locked up in a room upstairs and totally safe,” he explained.

It’s hard not to ignore the contrast between the two candidates. The Biden campaign has been calling a lid on in-person events regularly for weeks. Trump isn’t letting his COVID diagnosis stop him from doing his job.

I love Trump, but when are we going to start thinking in terms of the AMERICAN PEOLE running the country especially by and through the voluntary cooperation between buyers and sellers in the marketplace free from government inference - the Free Market economy - instead of being run by Washington D.C.?
We are country that is run “of the peole, by the people, and for the people.”
How does anyone think that Biden could lead the country if he’s too cowardly to come out of his basement most of the time? When he does come out, it’s usually to a place somewhere in Delaware or Pennsylvania which is just across the border from Delaware. His “events” are tiny, never open to the public and rarely even announced beforehand.

President Trump must be feeling the Covid fatigue after a year of stress with impeachment, daily attacks, he and Melania betrayed and slandered by former aides in books and the usual slurs over the media. Plus the always exhausting stress of medical tests again and again in a hospital.
Yet, he pushes ahead with at least some duties.
But Biden had to exhaust himself getting out of bed in his own basement and call it a “lid” day to get some much needed rest. Maybe the realistic novel he was reading had suspense and he got tired and needed a nap. Some leader.
He won't. They've got the goods on him and Hunter, just waiting for the right time to spring it, so Kamala becomes President.
This is why Pence must thoroughly destroy her in the debate.
Dude, we hired him. He IS running it FOR us.

The press secretary usually calls a full lid. It means that no further news will be released. When the press corps hears that a full lid has been called, they know they are free to leave the White House.
