Colorado Senate hopeful John Hickenlooper (D) recently praised China as a “great nation” deserving of American respect, according to a report, despite the nation being the origin of the virus plaguing America and the rest of the world.
Hickenlooper, a former Democrat governor of Colorado, made the remarks to supporters on a Zoom call on Monday, according to the Washington Free Beacon. He ignored China’s recent military saber-rattling and crackdowns in Hong Kong, according to the report.
“They do not want to rule the world,” he said on the call. “They don’t want to dominate. They want to be safe and be respected as one of the great nations of the world, which they are. And we should — I think that’s what we should recognize.”

I know Hickenlooper to a limited degree, and worked with he and Michael Bennet on a specific project years ago. He’s an oddball, and was prone to leaping carelessly before he looked. The only reason he had political success was his offbeat campaign ads when running for Denver mayor, and the perception of him as a business-friendly moderate. Yet, he has increasingly been willing to sacrifice the business community on the altar of liberalism. And, he was never a moderate, but more of a capitalistic far-left wacko, similar on a small scale to today’s leftist Silicon Valley CEOs. He was co-founder of the extreme left Chinook Fund, which funds a menagerie of insane, far far left causes and organizations. That’s who he truly is at heart.
Not to mention the illegals voting for these commies.
Boulder, Denver and Aurora seem to be the hubs of their power.
Take those three out of the picture, and Colorado would be deep red.
