Trump has said he would do it but Biden would probably never agree to it.
The Left would never agree because they want voters to be ignorant and just vote the D ballot.
This should be good, Cavuto is just as bad as Wallace, they both hate Trump.
It’s an idea that is worth trying.
I like it, as long as the questions are the same and the interviewer is less biased than Wallace was.
I refuse to watch Cavulto.

Yup, Cavuto is a big fat arrogant pig... another reason I don’t watch Fox.
Rogan would worry about losing a good size of his viewers/listeners...after he just signed a yuuuuge deal with spotify...so probably would/could never happen.

The long form format can work well. There’s a reason why Rogan gets millions of views. People are interested in that kind of conversational approach and I think President Trump would thrive in that format where he has more time to get his points across.
As another Freeper just said the Left would hate a more forensic examination of their candidate which is why they would never agree to it..
Trump should do it anyway. Show that he can, and is willing to, do this type of interview. Then, he can keep asking Joe why he isn't doing an interview with Joe Rogan.
Long form interviews could be interesting but I, as a voter, already know who gets my vote and it’s never going to be a demonrat. They are evil rats in my opinion. So, i wouldn’t bother even listening to the the demonrat candidates.
Demonrats MUST all march to the same song, same drumbeat. There is no room for differences of opinion and anybody who has one is immediately committing a hate crime and is racist. That’s not the attitude I want in this country and will not vote for it.
So What good might a longform interview do? Probably not more than a shouting match debate.
If a longform debate style is utilizes, each candidate should have a friendly interviewer..ie one who is sympathetic to their cause. Such an interviewer comes off as genuine, and the interviewee feels more comfortable and is naturally going to allow himself to be drawn out.
If a debate style is going to continue to be utilized, each candidate should be asked the same questions. You don’t throw a hardball question to one, and then ask about the smell of flowers from the other.
We are interested in knowing how you plan to manage as thè top CEO of government. Other questions can be asked about personal preferences and policies, but each candudate qets the same identical questions.
Sn example..Trump was asked what made him think he had the right to choose a surpreme court justice. He should pull out his copy of the pertinent constitutional portion. Then the other side..what makes you think you have the authority to choose a supreme court justice..and see what the other side says. Offer up some evidence to support your position.
Trump says Joe’s son is dirty, joe disagrees. Trump says go to the fbi document download url or the senate url document download..and see for yourself.
Viola, liar accusation is out the window and a non issue.
Debates could be a lot better.
