Boeing will consolidate Dreamliner production in South Carolina as demand drops

Boeing on Thursday said it plans to consolidate its 787 Dreamliner production at its South Carolina facility next year, a bid to lower costs amid weak demand, marking a blow for its Seattle-area production hub.

Boeing in July said it would evaluate consolidating production lines for the widebody jets, which it currently has in both Everett, Washington, and North Charleston, South Carolina, a plant where the workforce isn’t unionized.

Congratulations to communist Seattle and the Woke State of
Washington! They're finally starting to drive out those
evil capitalist exploiters and companies (aka employers)
from their idyllic socialist paradise.

I live in the USA because my Dad was recruited from Europe to work on the 747.

The political climate here being less than ideal for Boeing is why they are leaving. They have been moving production out for years, HQ, etc.

Jay Inslee has no doubt sped this process up, being the worst Governor for our state in modern history. He might be so bad that we wind up with a Republican Governor.

Before the Dems perfected voter fraud in Washington State, this place had a reasonable chance for Republican politicians. Ever since, it’s been straight liberalville. Same goes for Oregon. Vote fraud, mailed ballots...

If Boeing’s factory is in South Carolina, it’s less likely to be burned down by ANTIFA terrorists.

Seattle doesn’t need Boeing. They don’t need any businesses. Commie on.

Inslee to Boeing: the next plane gets built in Washington or you lose

Great job, Dimslee!

Brilliant move, Boeing. Consolidate 787 production at the plant where quality is poor, and airlines are refusing to accept delivery of aircraft built there.
