So the Reservation will have a 60 mile gap? Seems like a nightmare for BP to stop human traffic through there. President Trump may need to do a little arm twisting to close so large a gap.
The Toronto O’odham Nation (TON) Reservation has a good bit of previous barrier, mainly vehicle barrier.
They have had a lot of drug traffic, but relatively less human trafficking.
They will be at risk of more traffic getting channeled through their remaining openings - but they will be getting a bunch of new technology (virtual wall).
It is going to be a real test of that technology. Agents freed up by other barrier might flood into those remaining gaps as well.
Also, cartels are likely to focus on their border gaps, as never before. The stakes are likely going to rise there - Some will profit, and likely more will suffer.
