Last I checked, the Marine Corps taught folks to capitalize "Marine Corps".
Bear in mind that this was all transcribed by non-military volunteers. I’m sure the Colonel would not have done the same.
So, since an easy mistake was identified we can assume it's all fake.
No Marine or any member of the Armed Services would pass
over such an obvious mistake. Fake news.
