I was always under the impression that an apostrophe was substituted for a letter in order to shorten or conjoin words....So lets have some fun
Ma’Kiya
Man Kiya (Identifies as tranny)
Mac Kiya (Should work at Mcdonals instead)
Map Kiya (No idea)
Mat Kiya (Useful idiot)
I am sure there are others.
I am sick of idiot names with no significance but in your face culturalism.
To these dunderheads, apostrophes makes the name look “exotic” — it has nothing to do with the actual reason apostrophes are used in the English language.
Ma’Kiya’s mama named her after a car?
The rest of the family was named Ma’Hundai, D’Subaru, D’Chevy, Ma’Honda amd D’Uptownbus.
I’m not fond of them either, but I do know that in a lot of the black culture, unique names are highly prized. And among some of the more “out there” blacks, “regular” names represent white culture. I’d have to say, people have a right to name their kids what they like, goofy to us or not. Personally, I chose my children’s names more for their meanings, than anything else.
Max Kiya : extra big Ki(y)a car?
