Here’s a great read which is a log of a Belgian couple who RVed through the Congo. I read this several years ago, and I think I’ve posted it here before. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop.

What Leopold and the Belgians did in the Congo was criminal at the level of Stalin, Hitler and Mao.
I read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Crime of the Congo in the last few years. It was eye opening, to say the least. Free at Project Gutenberg.
