I have some African DNA, which meant that those ancestors were slaves. Any documentation shows that they and their descendants were Free Slaves by the 1700’s.

At one time some of my ancestors were slaves or indentured servants.

Nor I. There really are very few places I mask in this mask mandatory state: church, because I just really want to be there, and certain stores if I can only get what I need there. We’re blessed to have a number of area business owners who won’t enforce the mask mandate, so I have plenty of places to shop and get most of what I need. And the number of non-enforcers is growing.
Side note: I get stuffy nose and sore throat every Sunday after wearing a mask for 2 hours during church. I’m better by Monday evening.
