It would be nice to have the bipartisan rappart that may have existed at one time on this, but the Left put that in the rear-view window long ago. there is no longer any goodwill on the Dem side - and it is time we realized that and started acting like it.

Packing the court could backfire in the long run, because it dilutes the power of each vote. We won’t have any more 5-4 decisions; they will have to be 6-5 or 7-6.
I think it’s a great idea. A court with this kind of power should have 100m members (i.e. active voters). Ultimately, serious issues that are politically-sensitive should be decided by referendum (i.e. voters). For one thing, we’d immediately see the reinstatement of the death penalty for murder in cases where minors are above the age of 12.
