Billionaire Mike Bloomberg’s commitment of $100 million to help Joe Biden’s campaign in Florida is a huge boon for Democrats and it could put President Trump on defense in a state that is critical to his reelection.
At the end of his presidential campaign in March, Bloomberg pledged to spend “whatever it takes” to help Democrats beat Trump in November. Billionaire donors have long played a central role in supporting both parties. Yet no one has proposed pumping in so much cash to support a presidential campaign in a single state.
Bloomberg’s allies say the investment is in line with his longtime strategy in business and politics: to make the most impactful investment, based on the best data, at the right time.

One thing I learned from this year’s primaries, is that Bloomberg does a great job of wasting his own money.
For starters, those would prevent Trump from spending his own money.
And apparently stiffed campaign workers and staffers and still hasn’t payed them
Bloomberg’s history on spending money in politics to get results....is a bit comical. 100-million inserted into a 30-day period...will sink fairly fast and will mostly convince hard-core democrats to vote for Joe Biden (you didn’t have to spend money to achieve that). Beyond that, independent Latinos will ask what they get from Joe Biden, and receive silence.
Gee....I wonder how much of Bloombergs money it would take to get me to not vote Republican? $100Mil ought to do it.
He’s got way more money than sense.
Luckily this will do as much good for Biden as when he spent a billion on himself.
