Nearly 20 percent of millennials and Gen Z in New York believe Jews caused the Holocaust, according to a new survey released Wednesday.
The findings come from the first-ever 50-state survey on the Holocaust knowledge of American millennials and Gen Z, which was commissioned by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
For instance, although there were more than 40,000 camps and ghettos during World War II, 58 percent of respondents in New York cannot name a single one.
Additionally, 60 percent of respondents in New York do not know that 6 million Jews were killed during the Holocaust.
“The results are both shocking and saddening and they underscore why we must act now while Holocaust survivors are still with us to voice their stories,” said Gideon Taylor, president of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

I always doubt these kinds of surveys and I wouldn’t be surprised if young people would deliberately give a false answer if they feel their intelligence is being insulted with such a question.
However, if this headline were actually true then we should raise the voting age to 30 to keep these anti-Semitic morons from having any say in our country’s affairs.
Well, we don’t teach history too well nowadays, and/or a certain number of kids in school don’t learn it even if it is taught.
They do not want history taught at all.
That is the goal.

Possibly the Jews are not effectively passing this story down to their grandchildren? Maybe intentionally so as not to spread “victimhood”, or maybe they don’t realize the ignorance that will follow.
But can you imagine if 60% of young African Americans were unaware of slavery before the Civil War?
I’ve known a number of holocaust survivors. I worked with this one. He was fond of saying, “Better hung for lion than a lamb.” We had a contract with the German version of the FAA. The Germans complimented him on his command of their language. He replied, “I was a guest in your country for several years.”

So the opposite of the headline would mean that 80% of Gen Z and Millinnials in NY believe that Germans killed Jews just for kicks????

This is so sad, it breaks my heart. My Father fought his way though Belgium, France, and then Germany only to find these killing camps, he helped liberate one of those . He saw it first hand and only later as he was dying talked about it behind close doors just to me.
Upon my Father's death bed he told me of his battles (fire fights) and then finding the death camp (can't remember name), I broke down in tears. Other that that, his last words were, "Do your duty, Son" as I was in my dress blues. Never saw him again.
These muther frockers who are trying to re-write the Holocaust should get, well I better not say. Their idiot students that buy into this crap should get the same. My Gawd, there is SO much evidence, how do they shut it out? What is going on in their brain pan, if anything?
A big part of the "education system" is to turn off the idea of learning. They've been indoctrinated to go for instant gratification, always looking for simple answers, and taught never to ask questions, nor to question authority.
Not long ago, I read that the vast majority of people are almost proud to admit they haven't read a single book since leaving school.
