Support for the Black Live Matter movement dropped by 12 percentage points since June, according to a new poll from the Pew Research Center.
Fifty-five percent of U.S. adults said that they supported the racial justice movement in the September survey, compared with 67 percent in June who said the same.
Among Black Americans, support for the movement has remained the same at roughly 87 percent.
White Americans' support for Black Lives Matter went down from 60 percent in June to 45 percent in September and among Hispanic Americans support decreased from 77 percent to 66 percent. Support for the movement among Asian Americans went down from 75 percent to 69 percent since June.
The drop was most evident among partisans: for Republicans, support for Black Lives Matter dropped from 37 percent to 16 percent. Among Democrats it has decreased minimally, from 92 percent support to 88 percent.

Personally I gave up on the American people for not strongly trending toward Trump and the GOP all year. With exception of my wife, FR people and 63 million 2016 Trump voters.
The others had better shape up or be on the wrong side if things turn ugly just before Nov.3rd. I am just another good guy who will not passively watch America go down the drain.

Probably lower. Still, the trend is good. White support for BLM should drop to at most 10%. Any white person that supports BLM has to be suicidal, cause BLM is all about killing whites. To paraphrase Slow Joe, “You ain't white if you support support BLM”.

when did they do that? Does anybody even read the articles around here? I usually don’t :-) I read this one. It went down four points among Democrats and they would never get any Republican votes. They didn’t call off anything. It has 87% approval among blacks and we are expecting half of the black vote?

I agree. Every election people claim how much more of the black vote will go Republican, and we are always disappointed. They have their own agenda, apparently.

Best way to look at it is NO poll is accurate...think about it...polls take a sample, in this case between 9,500 and 10,500 people (which is actually a fairly large sample as polls go). There are 330 million people in the country and approx 160 million registered voters and the variables are numerous...through use of statistical processes they try to smooth out the bumps, but it's still a crap shoot. For the most part, today, polls are designed to influence, not give a snapshot...that train left the station a long time ago.
