No. 2 House Democrat Steny Hoyer of Maryland said the caucus had developed “useful ideas, important ideas” but said the proposal did not do enough to address the ongoing needs of helping the economy recover from the COVID-19 crisis. You can pass all of these separate things in separate, stand alone bills - those the GOP Senate and the President agree on would pass on through, those they don't would be shot down. There is no reason for this standoff other than pure partisan politics.

Pelosi should be required to detail exactly where she intends to borrow the money from to pay for all this spending. Because the CCP ain’t lending at the moment and the rest of the world is broke.
