I definitely believe Covid-19 was designed in Wuhan. However, I also have to believe there would have been multiple ways to spread the virus in the United States without infecting China first.
Further, the Wuhan lab was locked down around October 4, 2019 for an unknown reason but I think the reason is obvious. That was when the virus was unintentionally released.
It may be they were going to release it anyway but it’s an incredibly sloppy way to attack your enemy.
Infecting China first is necessary for the whole thing to work. It deflects blame and solves their geriatric problem.
I don’t think it was intentionally released, either.
Under socialism, every job is done by the person who can be assigned to it at the lowest cost to the state. If that person just happens to be utterly incompetent, well... Ooops.
The next iteration of this virus that gets out might be worse than its predecessors, though. We need China to get out of the line of research.
Allowing the virus to infect China provides some level of plausible deniability. However, life is overly abundant and therefore cheap in Chinah. A few hundred thousand, or even a few million is a small price to pay in a country with 1.4 billion people.
China intentionally allowed the contagion to spread around the world.
