As I understand it in this next phase working toward global government there is supposed to be more breaking off of smaller jurisdictions to help weaken the larger nations until they are riper for a global takeover.
You in a sense see that with the tyrannical powers of corrupt governors here within the US, but nibbling at the UK is undoubtedly another example. Presumably the EU and China would be the two superstates that they wouldn’t want to subjet to that weakening strategy.
