I live a few miles from the Slater fire in SW OR.

Instead of blaming it on disastrous fire mismanagement and arson, they blame on the tooth fairy of climate change.

I checked the OR fires on Inciweb and many were started in the middle of the night.

In Trump’s first year of office he directed the Dept of the Interior/USFS to reduce fuel loads in western forests to prevent fires.

Did they do it? I don’t think so, not around SW OR.

These huge forest fires are a direct result of forest mismanagement for decades. Plus arson.

I hope you are finding some solace and getting situated and please post on the other thread if there is a way to get you help.

Here is a list from inciweb of the main OR fires, one Idaho fire, start dates, and causes. NONE natural. I didn’t copy time of start but many were in the middle of night. The Alameda fire info I got elsewhere as it is not on inciweb. What are the odds of all these bad fires started mostly within 3 days, most in remote areas, with no lightning? In western fires the only causes are lightning, accidental/carelessness or arson.
