No nuts in the group. Watch the guys that to good to be true. They could be infiltrators or police plants. Recruitment of a few lawyers is a must paralegals for advice will do. Everything must be legal . Find an experienced leader. Establishment of a chain of command is a must. Be flexible. Read some historical books on partisan warfare. Set up auxiliary support units. Find some people trained to do investigations and use for establishing unit security. I have no real experience in running organizations like this .I read a lot of military history. I know it is not easy and requires work and dedication. Hope this all turns out unnecessary but I think it might.

Anyone absolutely stupid enough to call their group of friends a “militia” at this point is not bright enough to stay out of the gulag.
We get a few “militia” tards in training every now and then. Every last one of them shows up in fully tacticool airsoft kids gear they got off Amazon and have no clue how to handle a weapon. I have kicked at least 10 of these over-fed operators out of training classes in the past year.

There are at least 5 different militia groups in Mohave county Arizona alone. Not so hard to find. You can start with the Arizona State Militia (ASM). They are not a secret organization and have a web site. They are authorized by the state and Gov Ducey. They are also sanctioned by the county sheriff Schuster. https://www.azstatemilitia.com/
