This week’s death toll from fires in Oregon, Washington and California now stands at 18, as at least 100 major fires burn in 11 western states. As flames push closer to the city of Portland, the mayor has declared a state of emergency and state officials say they’re now preparing for a “mass fatality inicident.”
How many of those fires were fires started by arsonist, BLMers and Antifa thugs.
Considering all the rural communities that were torched and the acreage, that's pretty low. The main reason is except for a brief period there were not wind-driven. The bulk of the acreage was California with lightning fires with little wind, but lot of starts. Too many starts to get control of it even with very slow spread.
