I’ve heard that from more than one person and I think there is definitely some validity to it. The Obama administration showed the Arabs that they cannot count on being able to rely on the US to protect them from Iran forever. Thank goodness, the US government is back in sane hands but the Iran Deal Obama did frightened them enough that they are now much more willing to make a formal alliance with Israel as an insurance policy against Iran.

It was a Grand Deal on many fronts for the Arabs to cut off funding and ideological support to extremists/terrorists, and recognize Israel. In return we deliver regime change (or castration) in Iran, and economic diversification from oil.
It has been in the works from early in the Trump administration, and depended on a sophisticated understanding of everyone’s real motivations, and really expert deal making skills.

It’s all about Iran. The entire Middle East is deathly afraid of Iran and Trump’s hard az line with them has given them reassurance of our commitment to standing up to their bully.
So, its very funny to watch the press. They are so anti-Trump that they are now against peace in the middle-east. They are literally against it. Its like if the second coming of Jesus happened with Jesus blessing Trump, the press would say that Trump was being helped by foreign forces. Objectivity is so far gone that the MSM has no ability to return to the middle. They don’t even no where it is.
By the way. Remember the NYT article at the beginning of the Trump presidency. Remember it was ok for the press to slant and lie because Trump was going to harm the world. And then Trump has brought peace and prosperity, why is there slant and lies still here. I think its because the press was never for peace and prosperity. They like wars and poverty; its good ratings.

Then once it is obvious its a good thing the story will change to - well its really because of all the foundational work done by Osbama because president is an anti-Semite or some other bizarre interpretation.
Everybody get on the peace train - look Saudi Arabia is running to catch it before it leaves the station.
Saudi's kinda of have to now, they need some real change with good economic consequence and free trade is going to be the way to transform and leverage a semi educated population and take the heat off of the nutzo ruling family and their internal power struggle -
Peace for the Saudi's is an effect move against all the Iranian destabilization efforts through out there country.
The locus of mideast power transfers to Israel Egypt and Jordan becomes more economic based and less islamofascist centric
Oil isn't what it used to be for the next couple of years and a country with it's demographics needs to figure out a way to form a strong alliance against Iran.
Once Saudi Arabia enters the deal the size of their territory and physical linkage from the other countries in the agreement to the Suez Canal region and islamic significance with Mecca being there.
Its going to realign the the mideast and against Iran and probably Turkey.
Or Joe Biden can win and we can repeat the whole cycle into civilization collapse with a new cast of babarians at the gate every couple of years - maintence wars to enrich the uniparty.
The Democrats and crew are cheating to make it happen.

Having lived and worked overseas, I can tell you that many countries DO NOT take America’s words or promises as iron clad assurance simply because every 4 years, an election occurs and the promises made by a previous President is NOT GUARANTEED to be kept by a possible new President.
What would a Joe Biden presidency look like with his mental capacity diminished and his foreign policies influenced by the Squad composed of Jew hating Muzzies like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar? Think about that in light of this peace deals going on...

OK, so wth does that have to do with the answer I gave you as to the reason for their “change of minds” whether it be temporary or permanent.
I gave no opinion on that, just the reason for their recent change in attitude.

1. The Arabs most probably calculate that Trump will win in 2020, and policies will remain the same the next 4 years.
2. They and Israel face the same enemy, Iran... a country that wants to control the entire region and calculate that a regional alliance with a militaroly powerful Israel, backed up by an even more powerful America, is in their best interest.
Plus, they look at Israel’s record in dealing with past enemies after they made peace (e.g., Egypt and Jordan), and reckon that because Israel keeps her word, this is an adversary we can trust. The enemy of my enemy is my friend (especially if past performance is to be considered).
Finally, why not trade with Israel and reap the benefits of her innovation?
Notice all the yelling and screaming protests by the Palestinian Authority and its synchopants. That simply proves that President Trump’s actions are EXACTLY correct. The PA and its Radical Muslim friends will never approve any deal with Israel that leaves Israel intact. Their one and only goal for Israel is its complete destruction.
Though the Radical Muslim groups are loud and many, they are not winning, nor are they supported by most of the rest of the world. Making a deal with them is not only fruitless, it would never be honored anyway. Hooray for President Trump.
