The big problem here (in Commifornia) is the state taxes the hell out of legal marijuana purchases making it prohibitively expensive for a lot of people.
Husband is disabled and says pot is about the only thing that relieves his pain - I’ve been to the pot store and the prices are incredible.
That’s why there’s operations such as this, black market can sell it far cheaper.
As I’ve said before, if the state calls it legal but taxes and regulates the heck out of it, it isn’t really legal in the common usage of the word. It is legal but very expensive.
From the point of view of criminals, it doesn’t matter whether its expensively legal or prohibited—there’s still a market opportunity. Standard economics.
