Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold threatened to refer President Trump for prosecution after he seemed to suggest that North Carolinians try to vote two ways in the November election.

Griswold said she would include the president in prosecution for suspected cases of double voting "if it makes sense."

"In Colorado, we take double voting seriously and refer all suspected cases for legal enforcement," the Colorado secretary wrote on Twitter. "If it makes sense, I will include @realDonaldTrump in the referral for prosecution. He may not have presidential immunity anymore depending on the election."

Hahahaha!
What’s the actual crime? Telling people to exercise their rights and cast a provisional ballot, in case the stated made their 5 page forms so complicated that the voters’ make a mistake and their ballots get tossed?

Protect the franchise! Listen to the scientists!

Can someone say “no standing”?

Colorado doesn’t even have in person voting, much to my dismay.

She just made herself vulnerable. I’d expect Trump to excoriate her publicly in the next couple of days. Bringing some hurt to her party.

How can you double vote, the system will prevent that because it’s so secure

When you register to vote, you can choose the option to vote in person and then you’re assigned a precinct. If you go to the SOS website, you should be able to change your voting preference. I did in person voting for a few years after mail in was approved by voters, but switched over to mail in and use the drop box instead of the USPS. If you choose to do mail in, you can also see if your ballot was received by the SOS and accepted.

Griswold said she would include the president in prosecution for suspected cases of double voting "if it makes sense."

I cannot imagine in what scenario prosecution would make any sense.

Exactly! We've seen what's happened to the state since then...
