Joanne Rogers, the 92-year-old wife of the late Fred Rogers, blasted the president on Thursday, calling him a ‘horrible person’ who ‘seldom tells the truth.' ‘This man is pathologically ill. Mentally ill,’ Rogers told The Daily Beast.
When asked what she would do if Trump won re-election, she replied: ‘I will probably go into mourning.’
‘I can’t even imagine. I would feel so badly.’

The real Mr. Rogers was a really nice guy and a minister. He was attempting to live the gospels. Those who used to see him around town had nothing but good things to say about him (even the guy who stole his car).

Fred Rogers and Pres. Trump definitely have different conversational styles.
In Fred's defense, once women lose their husbands, their households become smaller and more vulnerable, and I notice great men's widows can become weak-willed and touchy-feely liberal. (Though not all!)
