Much as I hate the political correctness that forced the retirement of the old flag, I have to admit that this new design looks pretty decent.
Can’t go wrong with “In God We Trust.”
As a side note to this thread, please consider the following about federal government versus state government flags.
Noting that Constitution-ignoring FDR is responsible for the national flag displaying regulations that we have today, the states need to stop displaying the flag of the constitutionally limited power federal government above the flags of the sovereign states on flagpoles.
Instead, the national flag can displayed either at the same level as state flag on another pole, or below the state flag if on same flagpole.
And for those patriots who think that the corrupt, unconstitutionally big federal government is the greatest invention since sliced bread, you can hang federal flag above your state flag on 4th of July.

So, on the flagpole, is it above or below the Confederate battle flag?
The FIRST Mississippi flag was INTERESTING in that it’s two sides were completely different.
The branch of our family in Marshall County, MS still has one of the PRE-TWBTS flags.
(It is about 3.5x6 feet, hand-painted & made from the silk underskirt of a wedding gown.)
I was told by a cousin, a couple of years ago, that when Great Aunt Eloise (She is in her 90s.) passes away that the flag will be displayed at the MS State Museum. - Very few such flags are extant in 2020.
(It is believed that there are no more than 5 such flags, left, as all of the originals were hand-sewn & hand-painted.)
