This is, of course, an Obama judge. I suspect we'll see plenty of SWING elections in Georgia this fall. Stacey Abrams might end up as governor after all!

“Ross denied other changes sought by the lawsuit, including free ballot postage, quick notification of absentee application deficiencies, automatic mailing of absentee ballots to all voters, and ballot collection by third-party organizations.”

Well the judge did deny the laundry list of other things the group wanted which included ballot harvesting and automatic mailing of absentee ballots.
People have to request the absentee ballot at least and there are some safe guards. They do allow a 3 day extension for Military ballots already
We will see what happens on appeal.

>>The ruling invalidates Georgia’s requirement that ballots had to be received at county election offices by 7 p.m. on Election Day. U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross wrote that voters must be protected during the coronavirus pandemic, when record numbers of Georgians are expected to cast absentee ballots.

Horsesh!!

Why hold the line at “Election day” postmark then? Why not a week after the election you can still submit ballots?

There is NOTHING Coronavirus related that ANYONE who wants to request, obtain, and mail in an absentee ballot has to WAIT until election day to decide to mail the sucker in. This is about manufacturing ballots late in the day on election day.

We need the kind of revolution in this country where all of these lawless judges are fired.

Looks like the democrats next election ploy is going to be mobilizing their federal judges to alter election rules, using the phony pandemic to justify their rulings.

"U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross wrote that voters must be protected during the coronavirus pandemic,..."

Well, isn't she the boss of all. With her as yet another queen of all flying monkeys, we don't need a legislature or constitution, state or federal.

What has been the guidance on absentee voting by, say, American servicemen and women deployed overseas? I’m guessing it wasn’t just “postmarked by Election Day”.

How about people mailing the ballots a little earlier if they are worried about arriving on time.

From her Wikipedia page, she has a history of doing this kind of stuff:

In November 2018 Ross ruled against then Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp whose office delayed 50,000 voting registration applications placed on hold due to Georgia's “exact-match” law, requiring that personal information on voter applications match what is on state databases. Her ruling allowed some 3,000 naturalized U.S. citizens to vote in elections and prevent the state from throwing out some absentee ballots.

Then there has to be a certified chain of custody in the post office pipeline for all ballots.

The GOP needs to contest this one right now. That’s a command to cheat after the fact.

The judge just ruled that he is giving the Dems 3 additional days to “find” enough votes to win.
