So, which is it the UAE want more, PEACE or the F-35?
And if this were such a big deal, why continue with commercial flights to Israel?

It isn’t about Peace. It’s about isolating Iran. There are quite a few number of UAE/Israeli leaked diplomatic cables going back a decade. It is interesting to see the names, players involved from previous administrations. That is plural, administrations.
The “we don’t recognize Israel” was Kabuki Theater. No Israelis allowed, no Israeli goods, (except under the third party exception) has been around for years.
