This document provides public health information for the use of cloth face coverings by the general public when outside the home conducting essential activities. It does not substitute for existing guidance about social distancing and handwashing. It does not mandate that face coverings be worn state-wide.

 

Guidance

 

• Our best community and individual defense against COVID 19 is washing our hands frequently, avoiding touching our eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, avoiding being around sick people and physical distancing, especially by staying at home. A strong health care delivery system and emergency response system is also an essential core defense to save lives when people do get ill.
• There may be a benefit to reducing asymptomatic transmission and reinforcing physical distancing from the use of face coverings. However, face coverings may increase risk if users reduce their use of strong defenses, such as physical distancing and frequent hand washing, when using face coverings.

 

How well do cloth face coverings work to prevent spread of COVID-19?

There is limited evidence to suggest that use of cloth face coverings by the public during a pandemic could help reduce disease transmission. Their primary role is to reduce the release of infectious particles into the air when someone speaks, coughs, or sneezes, including someone who has COVID-19 but feels well. Cloth face coverings are not a substitute for physical distancing and washing hands and staying home when ill, but they may be helpful when combined with these primary interventions.

 

When should I wear a cloth face covering?

You may choose to wear a cloth face covering when you must be in public for essential activities, such as shopping at the grocery store. Wearing a cloth face covering does not eliminate the need to physically distance yourself from others.

 

Considerations

 

• Counties that choose to introduce policies promoting face coverings for their residents should make sure that these policies do not put increased demand on medical grade respirators, such as N95 and surgical masks. Counties should emphasize the use of face coverings in conjunction with evidence-based interventions such as staying at home, physical distancing when completing essential activities and washing hands.
• Individuals outside of counties with recommendations on face coverings, should wear coverings if they feel comfortable doing so, and practice strict hand washing before and after touching and adjusting the mask. They are reminded that face coverings are not a replacement for other evidence-based measures such as physical distancing, frequent hand washing practices, and remaining at home when not doing essential activities.

Those guidelines actually makes sense. I like that they point out the fact masks could actually make the spread worse. I think mask mandates have done exactly that, why else would cases surge along with mask mandates?

Fires anywhere in your area?

Helped a friend evac from Felton last week and have hundreds of other friends who evac’d from Boulder Creek down Highway 9 to Santa Cruz and even some in Salinas.

I went to get gas last Thursday in Felton and the gas pumps were turned off. The smoke was thick like a fog and ashes were coming down like snow.

Went to another gas station and their pumps were turned off as well.

Suddenly occurred to me “Maybe it’s not a good idea to pump gas in case a burning ember falls”

The china virus is .01 microns. The N 95 is the best, it filters to .03 microns. For all the karens out there, no masks protect anyone from any china virus. Mask mandates are for humilating the peons, not for public safety.

People are reusing the same mask day in, day out without washing it. They are constantly adjusting it. Which means they touching respiratory bacteria and germs all day, which then propagate overnight.

I know this happens because we sell products that mitigate germs and virus propagation and demonstrate to clients what happens to certain areas without a mitigation product.

These guidelines are from back in April, before the Democrats started using masks and restrictions to depress the citizenry and stifle the economy as part of their election strategy.

I know that liars have to lie, and these "health experts" are top-of-line fibbers. But if you really want to do something good for yourself :

Vitamin C 500 mg BID and Quercetin 250-500 mg BID
Zinc 75-100 mg/day
Melatonin (slow release): Begin with 0.3mg and increase as tolerated to 2 mg at night
Vitamin D3 1000-4000 u/day
Optional: Famotidine 20-40mg/day

I tweak this a little (skip the melatonin, reduce the zinc, add a b-complex, and use K2 to work with the D3). The result is that I have no fears of Covid-19. I wear a mask and social distance only when on another's private property and it makes them "feel better" about their virtue-signalling. I'd rather catch Covid-19 and beat it like the common cold than subject myself to masking and vaccination. Feels good to live free.

Maybe that was a little harsh. I don't have a problem with hand washing or staying home when sick. That's just common sense. But is that the "best community and individual defense" ... I don't think so. Especially when you get into "don't touch your face" territory.
