Hoosiers have been ordered to continue wearing masks for another 30 days.

With the first mask mandate set to expire, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb decided to extend the mandatory face-covering order through Sept. 25.

"On one hand we're pleased that we've been holding steady, steady Eddy Indiana here in terms of positivity rate," Gov. Holcomb said.

"We don't want that to trend up. We want that to trend down even more."

Indiana will also remain in 'stage 4.5' of the state's reopening plan.

Effectively, nothing changes in terms of capacity to restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.

Holcomb won’t have the courage to be the first state to completely open up. He’s a follower weasel.

He sure is. Such a weak POC in my opinion. I hope the RNC finds someone to run worthy of having an “R” behind his name.

If masks are on for stage 4.5, what stage is back to normal? “Stage Avogadro’s Number”?

Dear Governor Holcomb,

The Wuhan virus positivity rate isn’t such a big deal. How are the hospitalizations and deaths going? Declining, right? Cuz we’re having better treatments cuz we’re treating earlier? Then all is good. Why don’t you be brave and let the mask wearing be optional? Enough is enough.

Stage 5 would be back to normal. I think some of us got to see it temporarily around Independence Day. Then he got scared and had us backtrack to 4.5.

“stage 4.5”

We’re much more sophisticated here. Gov. Coonman Northam said northern Virginia was in “enhanced Stage 1” at one point. Since then, he appears to have given up on the stages bit.

Ah, yes. Penumbras and emanations abound as weak and cowardly governors move the decimal points on their “stages” so as not to have to make a decision for which they could be held accountable.

Screw him. Don’t wear the damned mask.

And I’m talking to every Hoosier who would rather not wear one

Unfortunately, Halfwit Holcomb has no opposition for re-election this year. The Governor is a spineless Coward when it comes to making any type of decisions.
