Julia Jackson, the mother of Jacob Blake, blasted rioters who have caused substantial violence and riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, this week after her 29-year-old son was shot by police during an attempted arrest, saying that she is disgusted by their behavior.
My family and I are very hurt and quite frankly disgusted, Jackson told CNNs Don Lemon. And as his mother, please dont burn up property and cause havoc and tear your own homes down in my sons name. You shouldnt do it. People shouldnt do it anyway, but to use my child or any other mother or fathers child, our tragedy to react in that manner is just not acceptable. And its not helping Jacob. Its not helping Jacob or any other of the men or women who has suffered in these areas.
Later, when asked if she had anything that she wanted to say to any elected officials, Jackson said, For our President Trump, first I want to say a family member and I dont know if it was heard or not said something that was not kind. She is hurting and I do apologize for that. Our outburst does not reflect our behavior. And also, for President Trump, Im sorry I missed your call because had I not missed your call, maybe the comments that you made would have been different. And Im not mad at you at all. I have the utmost respect for you as the leader of our country. Like I said before, and Im not saying this to him directly, we should always get the details from the right source before we start throwing bricks.

Quite the example for today.
May God comfort and guide her and her family.
Guest speaker for tonight’s RNC?
LEMON: Do you have anything to say, Ms. Jackson, to the politicians who are out there? Anything you want to say to the presidents or the candidates or Trump or Biden or anything like that?
JACKSON: For our President Trump, first I want to say a family member and I dont know if it was heard or not said something that was not kind. She is hurting and I do apologize for that. Our outburst does not reflect our behavior. And also, for President Trump, Im sorry I missed your call because had I not missed your call, maybe the comments that you made would have been different. Wow... I totally respect this woman. I wonder if she is going to get some left wing hate, I hope not.
I’m very glad people got to hear the Mother’s voice on this, and her condemning the rioting. She needs a bigger stage because it’s a message that needs to be heard.
LOL, maybe they can get her to speak at the RNC convention.
How about a live discussion with President Trump and her in the Oval Office tonight?!?
I am stunned and impressed.
When someone is hurting and in the middle of s-storm like this it is almost expected for them to lash out.
I am always respectful for a mom’s loss. This woman shows a class that is rare these days. God Bless her in this horrible time.
Clearly, this woman ain't black. I don't care how black her skin color is. She just can't be black to be saying kind of things like that about President Trump.
Lemon called Biden who confirmed that Ms. Blake is not a black person.
Ah. Whew. Nice save, Don.
Politics aside: this mom is a class act. Id bet she was a normal person who actually loved America. Further Im willing to bet most black people are embarrassed by the actions of a few. Racism in America is a definite correlation to the actions of the loser hand out people out there. And that goes for white trash as well.
Blake is 29! Old enough to know proper behavior. Sadly, he likely did NOT EVER listen to his mother.
Fly her to the white house, stat, and appear tonight at the convention.
Indeed. The ultimate in dignity in the most difficult of situations.
That’s a classy woman
Its just too bad he turned out so bad when he has such a great mother.
