It makes sense that not a word was spoken at the Democratic National Convention about the riots, looting, and mayhem that have ravaged some of our major cities. To denounce Antifa and Black Lives Matter would have been to denounce the Democrats’ own base.
And while many a Democratic mayor is embracing the idea of defunding the police, they’ve had no hesitation calling the police to protect themselves.
Citing the need for her and her family to live in peace and security, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot had the police cordon off her block to prevent protesters from coming anywhere near her home.
The mayor needs to live in peace and security. The rest of Chicago can take its chances in the state of nature.
Throughout modern history, there have been alliances between the elite and the mob, and they have never ended well for the rest of society. Sometimes the mobilized mob was even the creation of the elite.
The phrase, “History repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce” was most appropriately applied to the coup of Louis Bonaparte, the nephew of Napoleon, who wore the mantle of the family name but was made of inferior stuff.
Louis Bonaparte created the infamous Society of December Tenth, a mob that represented the dregs of society, which he plied with sausages and liquor and sausages anew. They became the thuggery for the coup against the French government in 1851.
Hitler’s Brownshirts were created from what the illustrious political theorist Hannah Arendt called “the mob” — the people who chose to have no place in the social order.
The German elite saw these thugs as fodder to be controlled for their own ends, but the Brownshirts’ use of violence helped create the Nazi dictatorship.

To BLM/Antifa:
After all police departments are eliminated there is nobody to protect you. Think about that.
Its the one-two punch. Men in suits allied with street mobs.
The radical left power base has made a mistake. They tied themselves to the mob by their praise, protection, and encouragement.
This has been exemplified by the MSM.
As a result, unlike an organic movement with no leaders (like the TEA party) that rose from grass-roots, the current civil unrest and disorder has openly Marxist leaders and the democrat party has rushed to align themselves with the same.
How does this all end? I don’t know, but I suspect that the majority of the country will reject this. How do you go from the most prosperous economy in our history only 6 months ago to an embrace of Marxism and total rejection of our history? Because the media told us so? Trust in the media has never been lower.
For the sake of the country and my children, I pray that I am correct. I see a big rejection of this coming in November. Biden and the DNC have no distance between themselves and the unrest. The left has torn off the camouflage they have worn for decades and Americans do not like what they see.
Biden and the DNC want schools shut, fewer cops, higher taxes, mass immigration, bigger government, and nonstop mask mandates and shutdowns. This message plays real well in the media doesn’t it? But how does it play in Anywhere, America? That is the key FRiends.
We will see in November where the country really is and what they really want, but despite the psy-ops campaign we now endure, I don’t think the country supports this chaos.
History is always instructive . There are many examples where directed violence by a “mob” results in the acquisition of political power and horrible consequences. People who had the power to quash the mob for many different reasons chose not to take definitive action and the consequential suffering and destruction was immense. Hitler’s brownshirts are an excellent example. In its nascent stages the Nazi s were brutal, anti semetic thugs who were tolerated by many since they themselves were anti Semetic and the Nazi’s claimed to be anti communists who would protect Germany from the red menace. Not unlike Antifa who claim to be anti racist and will protect America from the orange menace, capitalism and assorted other flaws. They are indeed the spear point of the Democrat/marxistParty.
However history is indeed instructive and there are many examples where the mob has failed and been crushed. always wondered what would have happened in 1927 Germany if the Jewish leadership, powerful in its own spphere, with resources and with thousands of Jewish war veterans, had decided to confront the nascent Nazis in a definitive manner and had eliminated them. Good chance WW II, the cultural destruction of Europe, the Holocaust would have been avoided. Sometimes direct action is necessary and appropriate.

Louis Napoleon Bonaparte would have gotten nowhere without the Bonaparte name...but DNA testing has apparently confirmed what was long suspected. Napoleon’s brother wasn’t really his father.
