I've been saying for weeks that public schools should be closed indefinitely in most states.

If this COVID-19 outbreak is so serious that we're supposed to let governors and bureaucrats shut down businesses and order people to walk around with stupid masks on, then you'll never convince me that it's safe to open a single public school ... even if the students and staff never get within 100 yards of each other.

Let these government sh!t-heads and the voters who support them figure out how to put that genie back in the bottle.

I just read an interesting article on SciTechDaily.com.

COVID-19 has a special affinity for olfactory cells in the nose.

This may explain two things.

(1) Why many victims temporarily lose their sense of smell.

(2) Children have significantly fewer olfactory cells than adults, which might explain why they have a much lower infection rate than adults, and why children's infections are usually much less severe than adults.
