A federal judge on Thursday dismissed President Trump's latest bid to block a subpoena for his taxes from Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr.
U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero rejected Trump's arguments that the subpoena, from a state grand jury looking into payments made to adult actress Stormy Daniels before Trump 2016 presidential win, was issued in bad faith and is too broad.
"We will appeal," the president's personal lawyer Jay Sekulow said.
Vance is seeking eight years of Trump's personal and business tax returns as well as other financial documents as part of an investigation into the president's business practices.
The ruling comes about a month after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the president's earlier claims of absolute immunity from state criminal subpoenas. The high court did say Trump was entitled to object to the subpoena on alternative grounds.

Judge Marrero is a dick. I was working at the U.S. Courthouse on 9/11. That sorry excuse for a human being would not let the jurors or his staff leave the building. The U.S. Marshalls had to go up to his Chambers and tell him that everyone HAD to leave as downtown Manhattan was under attack.
And how does this investigation help Americans of all political persuasions realize a stronger economy, job security, safer neighborhoods, better schools, a well equipped military, stronger international relations, etc.?
It doesn’t. It serves the far Left to do the exact opposite and maybe prop up their demented groper alzheimers suffering Village idiot as somehow a credible leader of the free world.
