Arizona is a battleground state, and President Donald Trump is targeting it in earnest, even more so than his opponent, Joe Biden.

This is the third time Trump has visited the Grand Canyon state in 2020. He’s set to brave the 111-degree heat on Tuesday in Yuma, Arizona, where he’s scheduled to visit the border wall construction efforts in the region...

In August, Trump then gave (Arizona Governor) Ducey a promotion, appointing him as Co-Chair of the bipartisan Council of Governors that discusses issues affecting states and the federal government.

Now Trump is aiming to return to the Desert Southwest at a time when schools are beginning to reopen.

When it says its 110 deg in Yuma, its actually about 120 on the sidewalks and pavement.

Spending a summer there made me question the sanity of anyone who lived there.

I have lived here in Yuma for over 30 years.

I would rather face the heat in summer, than Wisconsin or Minnesota winters.

“Don’t have to shovel sunshine”’, right?

I’m born/raised in AZ, I understand!

Moving from Montana after 25 years to Arizona. I can relate about winter and snow. Had to hire a road grader to plow me off of the mountain I live on one year; road was like a luge run and you couldn't open your doors if you got stuck. And hired 3 guys at $200 bucks each to shovel my roof a couple winters ago.

So winter wins. I've had my mountain man time. Golf course home is next.

The winter of ‘48 in Montana convinced my father to move to Arizona.

He was all of 24. Bronc rider, no golf.

But he felt the same way.

Trump’s got a fight on his hands there. Marijuana on the ballot as a Dem GOTV initiative.
