The Real Problem with Joe's Dementia
American Thinker.com ^ | August 15, 2020 | Sally Zelikovsky

Posted on 08/15/2020 7:07:31 AM PDT by Kaslin

Many Americans seem to have understandably concluded that Joe Biden has dementia based on his very public displays of confusion, aphasia, and incoherence. But the question we should actually be asking is What is going on with Joe out of public view?

Like many Americans who have cared for parents with dementia, I witnessed my father’s decline firsthand and, sadly, Joe Biden is presenting exactly as my father did in the early stages -- right down to the vacant look in his eyes. While I am neither doctor nor expert, physicians and other medical professionals rely heavily on caregiver observations because they monitor the disease’s progression 24/7 over the long haul, and can add valuable input that is not always obvious at an appointment or measurable with a cognitive test. I am relying on my experience as my father’s caregiver, corroborated by medical professionals, health consultants, literature, research, and the shared experiences of others. Of course, not every dementia victim will experience every symptom, but the commonalities are significant.

As the disease grabs hold of one’s faculties, men like Biden and my father continue to view themselves as experienced executives -- in control, commanding, and coherent; holding court as the family patriarch; the old dude who’s seen it all. They don’t doubt their ability to express complex ideas with the right words. And so, they conduct business as usual and, for the most part, things go fine until they stammer over a word, get frustrated, then confused, and either babble their way out or shut down. It isn’t long before lost words, forgotten names, and elusive ideas are replaced by whatchamacallit, whosimajig, whatshername, and the thing.

Joe was much better than I expected when he had the Kamala introduction a few days ago. Much better. Not sure how they did it, besides teleprompters. He had some words that came out garbled, and mispronounced her name at least once. Still, people who just saw that (and aren’t paying attention) will think it is a lie that he has dementia.

Wife and I were talking about the coming election and how bad it would be if Biden were elected...

Then she just started singing to the tune of Petticoat Junction....

“Here’s president Joe and he’s movin’ kinda slow at the White House...Democrat White House!!!”

I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard!!!!

Nobody in the Democrat party, or media, want to talk about this openly, but we here can. It’s clear to me, that if elected, Kamala Harris and the cabal of radical cabinet members to be appointed by Biden, will be running things. Biden himself will continue to fade and decline.

How will the media cover a Biden presidency, as we all see Joe continue to decline? Will it be similar to how the Vatican never really admits that an older pope is having health problems? We will see things with our own eyes, but nobody in any official capacity will say it out loud?

The media tries to pretend that Joe doesn’t have a problem. But there is so much talk about this, and Joe still hides in his basement. A campaigning politician who had all his faculties would nip this in the bud and given speeches, go on TV shows, eagerly push for debates — anything so that the public could see how false these rumors of dementia are. But Joe does nothing like that. Joe hides. The obvious conclusion is that it’s 100% true. And the media covers for him. I think the FCC needs to take action. The MSM is so obviously favoring one candidate.

Or, they could be running Biden-Harris knowing they’re unwinnable, but fully intending to contest the election, accuse Trump of stealing it, calling (again) for his impeachment/removal, and causing just enough bedlam to destroy his second term.

Perhaps this is the real reason for running a demented old man and a non-black "African-American".

I wonder if he wasn't given some drug cocktail to perk him up. Early stages of dementia are much, much worse when someone is tired and an energy boost can help for a short while.

All he had to do was read a teleprompter for a few minutes.

It is quite possible that he is now nothing a place holder for Kamala.

If he were to crash out before the election, she might even get the sympathy vote.

I can certainly relate to this as a family member has gone through these stages. Doesn’t know who she’s talking to but rambles on just the same...with added punctuation ‘sounds’ which appear at any time.

I suspect when people are around him they’re careful not to make any quick movements as they appear to slow walk around Biden.

He will be very dangerous.Initially the Dems think they will be able to control him and govern collectively. However history shows that when the “king” becomes senile and ineffective, the ministers begin to squabble, demonstrate jealousy, ambition etc. and soon the country suffers and goes through a long period of hardship. Most recent example Russia 1994-1998.

There are some medications for it. My friend’s mother was very bad and even seeing people who aren’t there and the medication makes her seem pretty normal. It won’t last more than 6 months but that’s all that Biden needs.

He won’t be close to normal but if he avoids the debates there will be no major screw-ups.

That’s why we need the debate

Biden will never be President.

His decline is too rapid even for early voting, less than 60 days away in some states.

I once thought they'd replace him during the convention, but that now seems unlikely.

They will simply insist Kamala step up, if Joe somehow wins a fraudulent election.

Joe’s complete medical workup won’t see the light of day till he’s been dead 50 years.

Joe would be pooping his pants in the Oval Office.

The American people have gotten stupid, but I hope not stupid enough to elect this fool.

I remember the doctor treating my Father saying he could give him something, maybe Arricept, forgive the spelling,
that would “polish him up”. But it is only temporary and
the condition would inevitably take it’s course. It did.
