Members of our community have taken to the streets every night since the murder of George Floyd to express their collective grief, anger, and frustration over not just that senseless act of violence, but the countless other abuses People of Color have endured in our country throughout history.
Murder? No one has been convicted of murder concerning George Floyd. Police chief seems to be lacking in legal formality. Convicting one of murder without a trial is akin to lynching.

The man with a police record, resisting arrest, George Floyd , was on drugs when he died and had pre-existing breathing problems. The drugs greatly affect the ability to breathe and to maintain proper heart rate under stress.

TV talkers saying “murder” and especially a police chief, is taking away the right to presumption of innocence in a trial. That is wrong.
Does that mean if we shoot them we get off scott free?
Arrest them and place them in Mike Schmidt’s backyard.
The money is leaving Portland in droves. Companies with headquarters there are leaving and relocating. So let them have their shithole utopia and go under.
The coastal Pacific Northwest has a dearth of lithium in its soil. The people who live there long term or are born there ultimately go crazy.
Or just let them continue to riot and vandalize so the country gets to see the logical outcome of failed liberal policies. A few more months and Portland will effectively be a moribund, hollow shell of a city devoid of any vitality or livability. The country needs to see this debacle play out to the bitter end.

Yup. Criminals recognize that failure to enforce the law is a green light for them to break the law. It’s unfortunate that politicians are too stupid to recognize that.
I disagree. Shooting looters would give them the Kent State moment they are desperately aching for. That has been their goal from Day 1 as it would provide weeks of news saturation coverage and a virtual wellspring of propaganda for them.
I think that’s the main reason the fed police have been so restrained.
