‘A recent poll showed Trump with nearly 20 percent of the black vote.’

well, the trouble with polls is you can’t believe them; unless of course they say what you want them to say, then they’re gospel truth...so Wayne buys this poll, but not the ones showing Biden 10 points ahead...

but if anyone’s banking on Trump winning by securing an increased share of the black vote, well, good luck with that...the male segment of that cohort is notorious for low turnout...

I feel pretty strongly that Trump will nearly double his share of the black vote in November.

It isn't that more blacks will vote. It means that a higher percentage of blacks who voted Democrat in the last election will vote for Trump in this election. (I don't think it will be 20%, but I think 15% is highly possible.)

It will be people like this black man in this remarkable video (Love Trumps Hate) who viewed conservatives and Trump as violent racists until this reporter convinced him to go over with her and talk to a line of people who were filing into a Trump rally last year. He was just a random guy standing with the Leftists heckling the line of Trump supporters going into an arena, and he said he got a ticket online, but wasn't going to go in because he was sure he would be thrown out at the direction of Trump at best, and at worst, would be assaulted.

The vile abuse the female reporter was subjected to when she walked among them was standard fare (one guy was shouting angrily at her "Can I grab your pussy? Huh? Can I grab your pussy?" and so on. When she got the guy to walk over with her, the Trump supporters were uniformly welcoming, talked to him, shook his hand, even hugged him. A few invited him to cut the line and join their group. By the end of his foray into the conservative side, he clearly didn't see things as he had before, but just as significant was his return to the Leftists who insulted him, called him names (traitor, Uncle Tom, etc.) and he found himself arguing with his own previous comrades.

Of course, not every black person would have this kind of experience. But it showed the truth. And many blacks did notice the increase in black employment during the last four years.

Yes. I think it is not only possible, but probable that Trump will nearly double his share of the black vote.
