I wouldnt take a COVID-19 virus vaccine.
Currently in Texas all students entering an institution of higher learning must have a meningococcal vaccination and you can be sure Texas will also require a Covid vaccine to go to college.
Employers will follow the same path.

I’m amazed *anyone* would say they would take a hypothetical vaccine they know nothing about.
I guess the polling forced people to assume the vaccine was safe and effective.
We assume that this “hypothetical vaccine” would work. But there’s a chance that it may not, especially since this is so new.
Count me out. I will not be coerced into allowing some vaccine to be imposed upon me until I have several years of honest data that shows me it is both safe and effective.
I never get flu shots and I place this virus at the same general risk level.
I will take my chances as I always have. I suppose it’s a “miracle” I’m still alive after all these decades.

A student, or a parent or guardian of a student, is not required to submit evidence of receiving the vaccination against bacterial meningitis if the student, or a parent or guardian of a student, submits to the institution:
(1) an affidavit or a certificate signed by a physician who is duly registered and licensed to practice medicine in the United States, in which it is stated that, in the physician's opinion, the vaccination required would be injurious to the health and well-being of the student;
(2) an affidavit signed by the student stating that the student declines the vaccination for bacterial meningitis for reasons of conscience, including a religious belief.

Why inject experimental fluid in your blood,
when you can just go the nearby crowded bar, enjoy a few drinks, inhale a few covid-19 virus cells, get either very mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. Then you build T-cells and immunity the natural way.
Of course I recommend this route only if you are healthy, not obese, not diabetic, and not have cancer. I will refuse the vaccine because I do treadmill EVERY DAY set 3 degrees up-slope moving at 24 minutes/mile. So what if I have burned 80 candles already, my lungs are healthy as a race horse.
I have had a horrific reaction when I used to take the flu vaccines. I had to stop, I got terribly I’ll from them enough times to know it was not the real flu. Haven’t taken one in over a couple of decades. Not going to do an “untried by time” witches brew.
It is a first. It modifies your DNA. Never been done before in a vaccine and it’s been fast tracked. No thanks.
