I presume they’re going ahead with his executive orders on evictions from federally funded housing, delaying student loan payments, attempting a payroll tax holiday, etc.

Staying evictions and student loan relief are going to be hard for Chuck and Nancy to sue over, to try to stop the payroll tax relief part

But no doubt they will find a way

Yes, you are correct.

For Democrats the EO for unemployment is a winn win. They get extended benefits and get to complain about the President’s disregard of the separation of powers.

I suspect that has been everybody’s plan all along. The EO is the shrimp cocktail appetizer. Frying the rest of the fish will occur later. It’s August and they don’t work in August anyway
